B2B personalization (now a sales content agent)

Mutiny review

Mutiny started in 2018 as a B2B website personalization platform and in 2026 shut that product down to relaunch as an AI agent that creates customer-facing sales and marketing assets. It's worth a look for account-based sales content, but it no longer tests or personalizes your website.

From website personalization to a content agent

For most of its life, Mutiny was a no-code tool that let B2B marketers personalize their website to match each visitor's persona, industry and company size. A 2025 profile from its investor Insight Partners describes it that way. In 2026 the company changed course. In its own relaunch post, Mutiny says it "killed the SaaS product and rebuilt the whole thing from scratch", this time agent-first. ProductLed, writing in May 2026, reported that the team walked away from much of the original product after growing it past eight figures in annual revenue.

What Mutiny does now

Mutiny now calls itself a sales assistant, or GTM agent, for customer-facing work. You ask it for an asset and it builds one: deal rooms, executive business cases, pitch decks, pricing proposals, meeting recaps, competitive comparisons and ABM campaigns. It pulls context from email, calendar, call recordings, docs and the CRM, and you can work with it from Slack or Claude as well as in its own editor.

It also tracks engagement on the assets it creates at the contact level, so a seller can see which stakeholders are engaging with a deal. Mutiny says more than 30,000 assets have been published with it, and names Figma, Rippling, Uber and Snowflake as users.

What it no longer does

The current homepage, product pages, FAQ and pricing page don't mention website personalization, A/B testing or experiments. If you want a tool that changes what visitors see on your live site and measures the result, today's Mutiny isn't it. Former customers of the website product need a replacement for that work.

Plans

There's a free plan for up to 5 team members, a Business plan at $50 a month with 50 credits and unlimited team members, and Enterprise from $40,000 a year with SSO, a Salesforce integration and a dedicated growth strategist. The FAQ describes the tiers a little differently, which the Mutiny pricing page on this site covers.

Company

Mutiny went through Y Combinator in 2018 and was founded by Jaleh Rezaei (CEO) and Nikhil Mathew (CTO). It says it raised $72M from top-tier investors, and its YC profile lists Sequoia, Tiger Global, Insight Partners and Y Combinator as backers. The relaunch came with a smaller team; its YC profile now lists 20 people.

Who it suits

Mutiny suits B2B teams selling to named accounts, where the bottleneck is producing tailored decks, business cases and deal rooms fast. The free plan makes it cheap to try. Teams that want to test or personalize their website should look at testing and personalization tools instead, because that's no longer what Mutiny sells.

Pros and cons

What Mutiny does well

  • Generates account-specific deal rooms, business cases, pitch decks, pricing proposals and ABM campaign pages from CRM, email, calendar and call data.
  • Works from Slack or Claude as well as its own editor.
  • Shows contact-level engagement on the assets it creates, so sellers can see which stakeholders are active.
  • Free plan for up to 5 team members, and a Business plan with unlimited team members at $50 a month.
  • Named users include Figma, Rippling, Uber and Snowflake.

Where it falls short

  • No longer tests or personalizes your live website. The old product was shut down.
  • The pricing page and the FAQ give different figures (Enterprise from $40,000 a year on one, from $30k on the other), so confirm with sales.
  • Usage is metered in credits, with 50 a month on the Business plan.
  • The Salesforce integration and SSO are Enterprise-only.

Questions people ask

What does Mutiny do now?+

It's an AI agent for B2B sales and marketing teams. It creates deal rooms, business cases, pitch decks, pricing proposals, meeting recaps, competitive comparisons and ABM campaign pages from your CRM, email, calendar and call data, and works from Slack or Claude.

How much does Mutiny cost?+

The pricing page lists a free plan, Business at $50 a month and Enterprise from $40,000 a year. Its FAQ says Business is priced by team size and Enterprise starts at $30k, so confirm with sales.

What can I use instead of Mutiny to test my website?+

Any A/B testing tool covers on-page experiments. Outtest is one option: AI agents find where the funnel loses money, build and run the test, and judge it on revenue per visitor from your payment tool, from $29 a month. It doesn't do account-level personalization.
